| 1 cup of flour shows to have Total Carbohydrate 95.4g 16 tablespoons per cup would equal 6 carbs. the milk shows to have Total Carbohydrate 12.2g for 1 cup both of these are not allowed on induction but you can see how the flour does make a huge difference. the heavy cream has Total Carbohydrate 6.6g for 1 cup [sorry i keep editing. apology to megs, i'll stay outta your forum]

| You could mix water and heavy cream to use instead of the milk at the top. You would have to leave out the flour. That would help some. It would still be creamy and cheesy and somewhat carby. Are you familiar with this lowcarb recipe site. I have found some really good recipes there. http://genaw.com/lowcarb/ And you could look through the recipe section here. Good suggestions there as well.

| you need to use one of the websites like www.fitday.com to enter all the ingredients and work out how many carbs they add up to. I tried it in my fitday pc and substituted the milk for 1/2 cream & 1/2 water and removed the flour and it came to a total of 30 net carbs How many servings is the recipe supposed to make? If it is 4 servings then the net carbs would be 7.5 per serving Apart from the carb count, we have daily limits of how much cheese and cream we are allowed so you need to decide how much of this you can eat to not overdo the allowances, including any other cheese & cream you eat in the day.

| As mentioned above, flour and milk are not allowed for quite some time and definately not on Induction, plus your sour cream or heavy cream use is volume-restricted daily. I would try checking out Linda's recipe site and checking the Induction-friendly ideas (marked with *) -- I found so many incredibely DELICIOUS things there - like the Taco Bake sitting in my fridge downstairs lol.
