| Hopeful just switch to smoked ham slices instead. I found that Oscar Meyer does make a smoked ham slice that is carb free. If you are putting it with eggs it will not make to much of a difference.

| Good luck with your first day!!! You shouldn't really eat anything that contains sugar, and honey is sugar. It would be best to have something else and to make sure in future that the ham you buy is sugar free. I suppose you could compromise and eat it this time only - but it would be a great pity to start making compromises on your first meal of your first day!

| Thanks! Although, I love ham and eggs (frozen egg patties) for breakfast, I think I'll opt for the 2 slices of bacon and a piece of sausage this morning! The honey ham was what I already had, so when I go back to the store I'll be sure to get carb free ham!!! |

| You need to be careful with bacon and sausage also, most bacon contains sugar and most sausages have carby fillers. Again you need to check the ingredients of the ones you buy very carefully.

| I was just going to say, if the ham was the only thing I had, I would have pulled off that outter ridge where most of the honey is baked on, then I would have rinsed off the piece of meat and fried it. Yes, watch out for the sausages with added fillers and sugar. You might be better off getting deli sausage that is ground or already made in patties. You defnitely want to be very strict on induction for a few benificial reasons: - your carb cravings will almost completely disappear. - you will maximize your weight loss. - you will give yourself a stronger foundation, esp. with reading labels, etc. Good luck! |
