| Jicama to me is a replacement for apples/pears. What area do you live in Wishfire? Now that I am off sweeteners and such, it tastes sweet to me. it has the consistency or crunch/bite of a very firm pear. |

| Porcelain I live in the UK....I searched online to see if i could find out where to buy it but no luck... I found out it's used in oriental cooking but couldn't find it in chinese supermarkets or china town in london.....and normal supermarkets never heard of it |

| Oh no, I don't know if anyone in the UK has found it. Do you have any Hispanic/Latin markets around you? It looks like a huge turnip but it is pale dirt colored. It is a root. |
