| I would suggest also checking supermarkets own brands, here in the UK they are often lower in carbs (I use sainsbury's french mayonnaise, which does have less carbs than hellmans) |

| Can you use Hellmann's Real Mayo an unlimited amount of times..since there is no carbs and no sugar?

| You can use as much mayo as you like, but it is very high in calories so it is possible to overdo. But as long as you are not spooning it from the jar to your mouth and just eating what seems right with your food you should be fine. Make sure it's full fat though, not one of the light mayos. They are loaded with carbs. I second checking out the own brands - I use Lidl's, it's nice and has no sugar.

Having said that, I do use Hellmann's Real Mayo. Since I don't use mayo very often, I don't worry about the small amount of sugar. Just wanted to give a heads up that it is important to check BOTH the Nutrition Facts and the Ingredients. The way they do the "facts" is kinda sketchy sometimes.

| I use Duke's Real Mayonnaise. It's sugar-free--(says it on the label and does not have sugar listed in the ingredients). I used Hellman's until I found this. I spend so much time checking labels now that the people at the 3 supermarkets I frequent are probably whispering about me

| Mitzi is right, mayo does have 'some' carbs even though not enough in one 'serving' size to be listed on labels. If it has under 0.5 they can say 'zero' so if you are having 2 tablespoons of something with a stated zero carbs per one teaspoon then you could be eating nearly 3 carbs if the one teaspoon contains 0.4999 carbs!! We are lucky outside the USA in that on the whole our labels list nutrition 'per 100g' or '100mls' which gives us a better chance of counting our carbs etc accurately. The mayo I use (lidl) has only 0.9 carbs per 100 grams/3.5 ounces, so one tablespoon has about 0.11 carbs. I think Hellmans has about 0.45 grams of carbs per tablespoon according to a hidden carbs calculation I did using their label info.
