| Absolutely! If you're hungry eat a legal snack or meal. At least for the first week, don't worry about calories or how much you eat. Just make sure you get all your veggies and don't go over 20 carbs per day. When ketosis kicks in, you will be surprised what happens to your appetite.

| Welcome Joe I'm not sure where you're at in your Atkins' journey so I'd like to share that you will benefit greatly if you read DANDR 2002 (Dr. Atkins' New Diet Revolution), continue to drink lots of water, read and post as much as you can on this site , count your carbs, take supplements, and exercise.Best of luck to you! |

| Ditto to everyone. I still have hunger pangs and last night was one of them. I ate 1 oz of cheese to satisfy that hunger, but it did not go away. I always watch my calories which is why I am probably running into these hunger pangs. Have to get around that somehow. So I know exactly where you are coming from. I'm on day 9 and I hope it does get better. Hang in there and people on this site are great and are very resourceful so you are not alone. Post away. Good luck! |
