Thumbs up Re: Any ideas on Quick filling Breakfast Ideas

My favorite breakfast idea (my dd loves it to)

Is to get a muffin pan and butter it so the food wont' stick.
Crack an egg into the muffin pan (if you like eggs fried hard
then scramble it first)
Then add hamburger meat, or nitrate free bacon, onions, peppers, just whatever you want.

Bake for about 20 mins (I have to do it at 350 and again I like my eggs fried hard) then add a little cheese on top, bake for another 5 mins till cheese gets crispy.

When it comes out of the oven you can add sour cream, chilies etc.

YUM! That sounds amazing. I am going to try that. I love spicy food even for breakfast so this is really appealing!

My favourite breakfasts are:
scrambled egg (made with 1 tbsp cream) with bacon or smoked salmon
crustless quiche (delicious and you make six portions at once so very quick in the morning)
mock danish (with 1 tbsp flax)
omelette with small amount of veg and cheese
baked avocado with bacon, cream and cheese

I had leftover hamburger pie with cheese and runner beans for breakfast today and really enjoyed it so may start eating leftovers in the morning. I like my salad for lunch!

You could make the Muffin in a Minute using 1 tablespoon flaxmeal and 2 or 3 tablespoons protein powder, I already substitue half the flaxmeal with whey protein powder. I use Designer Whey Vanilla protein powder, can put a couple of drops of banana flavor in it for a "banana bread" muffin. Yummmm!

A good suggestion, Deb, as long as you are using protein 'isolate' rather than ordinary powder.
