Default Day 9 and TOM Beginning!

Oh man, it's that time of the month!!!! I'm craving EVERYTHING right now, it's horrible!!! I cheated a little yesterday, my bf had some McDonald's for breakfast, and I stole a little corner off of his "hash-brown" brick that comes with it. It tasted great at the time, but now I wish I hadn't cheated! I was doing so well!

Not much I can do about it now, it's not the end of the world either, I've just got to stay on track and get through this week! I'm going to start exercising this week, so hopefully I can get more weight off through this second week. I've been at a stand-still for the past few days on my weight. I don't want to weigh myself again until the end of this week, because I don't want to get discouraged and completely fall off the wagon. I've just been so interested to see my progress! I do think a lot of the weight was water weight though....That's still good! I don't feel so bloated Not to mention, I've been sleeping A LOT better since I've been on this program.

Default Re: Day 9 and TOM Beginning!

I am right there with you. Tom came on Saturday night. I was so crabby Sunday and craved everything my boys cooked up that day. I made it through it but then.........yesterday my happy little *** took off to Mcdonalds to get eggs and sausage but in order to do that I told myself I needed to order the big breakfast. It comes with a biscut and a potato cake. I ordered two.........need one for lunch later right???

On the way back to work I stuck my hand in the bag and out came a biscut. I'm a damn magician. I took a nibble....then another nibble.....and another and then poof the biscut disappeared. I feel horrible.

I walked last night 1 mile did the minimum for push ups, squats, and abs.

I drank maybe 68 oz of water and had to choke that down.

I was up one pound this morning but, I really am thinking that probably from retaining water during TOM and not drinking nearly enough since I had 4 Diet dr. peppers yesterday. 3 over my allowed amount.

UUGGGHHH.......I surfed here all day yesterday trying to find some support and just couldn't pull it out. Updated my journal with my struggle.......got nothin'.

So I wanted to let you know you are not the only one. We will both get right back on track and do great!!

I guess I am lucky. I don't have any food craving with my periods. But I understand food cravings - I do get those sometimes My best weapon is legal treats. There are lots of yummy things we can eat and in trouble spots it is good to have a treat. I like smoked salmon, proscuito, cream cheese, cream.
