| I finished day 2 yesterday (Tuesday). I had a horrible headache on the first day, that was from sugar/caffeine withdrawal. I used to drink soooo much soda pop. One of the things that's been really working for me is this website: http://www.genaw.com/lowcarb/recipes.html It has a ton of recipes, and the ones with a * are induction friendly. My issue with Atkins was that I always got bored. This website has so many different recipes that I wish I could make them all in one day to try them. Good job on finishing day 2! They say it gets easier! I'm about to finish day 3 (Wednesday). Keep up the good work and stay strong! |

| It sounds as if you are up and runing, Chris You can take a headache pill for the pain if you need it - just check they have no sugar or caffeine in them

| I am so excited for you! Day 3 is when my headache hit, not a bad ache...just a dull ache. I'm on Day 5 today and I feel really good. My headache is gone and so far my cravings for all the terrible food I had been eating are gone. I agree with Joe, it gets easier. Last night my family wanted pizza at our favorite place to go. I went and got a chef salad and ate the cheese off of a slice of pizza. I was amazed by how satisfied I was. You can do this! So happy you're here |
