| On a couple of days, you aren't eating enough vegetables. Give this 14 days a full 14 days before you hang it up.

| Hi there I looked at your fitday and it looks to me like your carbs are way too low. If you can try to get 12 - 15 net carbs from veggies alone, that's ideal. Sounds like you're doing everything else right...it'll work, just takes longer for some than others. And it depends on how much you have to lose...seems the heavier you are, the more you lose at first. Don't give up! |

| Don't fret... and stay off the scale. I'm only on day 4 and I'm feeling bloated today but I know that will come and go no matter what you do! Did you just start to exercise or have you been exercising all along? I ask because I see you are using an incline on the TM... Hang in there!!! Tracey

| Give it time and soon you'll see the results, if you dont already feel them now. Dont weigh yourself so much. I didnt weigh meself till my initial 2 weeks induction period was over. Stay positive and you'll be fine. God Bless, Joe |

| Hang in there, bun3kin. Like others have said make sure to eat enough veggies and wait to see the "big picture" after day 14. Also, on some days it seems your calories were a little low and your fat % wasn't high enough. I believe fat % should be around 65% of your intake. Stick with it for 14 days and I'm sure you'll LOVE the results. |

| If you have been in ketosis since day 2, I''m guessing you weren't eating very many carbs before you started induction. In that case, you probably won't see the dramatic water weight loss that someone who is cutting from 300g carbs/day to 20 will see.

| Thanks for the help! Now I am really confused, though. The last time I posted asking if I was eating enough, I was told that I was eating too many veggies. I have read the book 3 times (!!) and I guess I just don't get it? The way I understood it is that we are supposed to limit our carbs to 20 or less. In the book it sayd 3 cups salad veggies or 2 cups salad veggies and 1 cup other veggies. On Monday, I ate 2 salads with 2 cups salad veggies and 1 cup other veggies, because when I plugged my info into fitday it said my carb count was low. I posted asking if I was doing it right and was told that I was eating too many veggies, so I cut back on them. I guess I don't know what to eat to get my carb count up if I am supposed to only eat the specified amounts of veggies and 3-4 oz cheese. Maybe I need to go look at some journals where people have posted their induction menus? I am on my way to look at the veggie challange. I would love to be able to eat more veggies! To answer your questions: - I just started working out on Monday. - I was eating normally until Monday, and in fact probably ate more carbs than normal in anticipation of starting. Thanks again!

| Have you played much with fitday? A lot of people don't like it, and don't use it, so please don't feel like I'm pushing you into using it....it's just a tool and the reason I ask if you've played with it is because it allows you to see how adding fat will lower your carb count, or adding high fiber veggies will lower your carb count etc. I did the veggie challenge last year and was amazed at the amount of veggies I could consume to get to that ideal number. I didn't use the 2 cups of this, one cup of that rule...I did it by net carbs instead. Everyone's different so don't overthink what you're doing. The veggie challenge will get your brain going and it's fun, and a little frustrating if you're not a big veggie fan, but I don't think you'd regret doing it. Not sure if I've helped here or just confused you! |
