You don't have much weight to lose so you may end up losing at a slower rate. If the scale is causing you so much grief, I'd toss it. This is coming from someone who's been scale obsessed in the past. Honestly, the only thing that works for me is that I'll weigh myself every 2 weeks or when I feel a difference in my clothing.

I forgot to ask - how many days into induction are you?

At least you are losing and you see that scale going down. If you are exercising, I would imagine a slight weight increase due to you building muscle. Or, you may have had too much sodium the previous day therefore causing you to retain water. Possible. It happens to me. God Bless, Joe

| Don't fret about your rate of weight loss. You're losing at a great rate seeing as how you're only looking to lose 22 lbs. When you get that close to goal, weight loss slows down tremendously. As an example, I was losing 2 or more pounds each week until I reached the last 15. Those 15 took a total of 4 months to finally come off. Just have to be patient, follow the plan and stay the course and you'll hit goal when your body is ready. Make sure you start moving up to OWL once your induction period is finished as that's where the majority of your weight is to be lost. Many people even experience a slight increase in weight loss once they begin working up the rungs. Staying in induction too long is often more of a hinderance than anything as those who do often find themselves in the second time around club. All the best! ~Far la bella figura!

Thanks everyone. I can't wait to move to the next phase. I don't think I'll benefit from extended Induction. Just a few more days. I'm hanging in there.
