Unhappy Day 12 - frustrated

Ok I'm starting to worry - I've lost about 2 lb and finding it rather hard to not eat sweets I admit it's getting harder then it was in the beginning anyway... I've reduced the calories from 1400 to 1200 a day and added an extra 30 minutes of ciclette and 20 of Pilates... hope it works!

I've been using carbs and kcals free sweetener so I've given up that one too.

Any other advice for me?

Good Morning!
Can you post a typical day's menu and people can chime in on some tweaks for you! Are you getting your water in?

2 lbs is a great start!!

Breakfast
1 boiled egg (60gr)

Lunch
2 hotdog sausages (2x50gr)
50gr mayonnaise

Snack
1 boiled egg (60gr)

Dinner
50gr green salad
1 tablespoon sunflower oil (10gr)
1 tablespoon vinegar (10gr)
1 mozzarella (100gr)

(2-3 L water a day)

I know it's a pretty simple menu but I don't like to cook nor have I ever learnt to so yeah
Before getting on Atkins my "menu" wasn't really good, something like this

Breakfast
nothing

Lunch
1 milkshake (250dl) or milk with 5-7 integral rusks (+ sometimes an apple)

Dinner
Mixed salad or 1 Mozzarella or 4 tomatoes or 1 fruit/chocolate yogurt

1-1.5 L of fruit juice daily + sometimes sweets in between like lollies (about 2 a day)

You need to add more veggies, you should be getting around 20 grams of carbs from your veggies, try integrating some into every meal if you can.

Also, try adding more for breakfast if you are hungry, 1 broiled egg doesn't seem like too much at all!

You are way too low on carbs and calories. Atkins is not no-carb nor is it low calorie. If you reduce your food too much your body will think it is starving and you will not lose. I believe you will have much better results if you eat more.

I looked at your stats. You lost 0.7 kg and have 14.3 kg left. Congrats, you are on target.

During the first 14 days of Induction, we can expect to lose 5-10% of the weight we need to lose. So in your case you have lost the 5% already. So again, you are right on track.

You need more veggies and watch out for sausages/hot dogs.
