| Here is one I had that I liked!! I haen't made up a name for it....hmmm Elsie's Breakfast Wrap 1-2 scrambled eggs ( I use 2 as I am trying to up my calories) 1 oz cheese, shredded 1 T sour cream 1 T salsa (make sure it is sugar free or homemade) Romaine lettuce leaf (or 2)(or 1 cup torn lettuce of choice)(Romaine seemed to tear less) Scramble eggs. Spoon onto lettuce leaf. Place cheese onto so it can start melting. Add sour cream and salsa. Wrap leaf(s) around it and enjoy. A good way to get some of your veggies in. You could also add some peppers or other veggies of your choice.

| Somebody's Mock Danish...can't remember who the author is 2 eggs...beaten 1 oz cream cheese...beaten and blended with eggs 1-3 dashes of cinnamon 1/2 tsp of vanilla 1 tsp splenda Mix everything up really good. Put it in a microwave safe container/bowl. Cook on high for about 2 minutes...give or take 10seconds. I think it's about 3 total carbs

| Cauliflower 'Hash Browns' 1 cup of raw cauliflower 1 egg seasonings to taste 1/4 ounce of butter or 1/2 tablespoon of oil Grate or shred cauliflower into a microwaveable bowl and microwave it on high for a couple of minutes till softened. Let cool then add one beaten egg and whatever seasonings you like - salt/pepper/chilli flakes etc Put frying pan over medium heat and add butter or oil. When hot add spoonfuls of the cauliflower mixture in heaps to make 4 small or 2 large 'patties' and fry till firm and browned on underside, carefully turn over with spatula and cook other side. I serve them with eggs and bacon usually but they also work well as a veg alongside any main dish!

| Had this for breakfast today. Found it in the recipe section from MotherEarth aka Sherri. I would say that the texture/look may be something to get used to the first time for some. Next time I will save the cream for on top after it has been cooked..makes it feel more hot cereal like. But I would add an extra Tbsp of water as I think that it needs the liquid if you don't add the cream in. I added sweetner. Quite yummy. I make hot flaxmal cereal all the time. If you have whole flax seed, just mill it in a coffee grinder. 3 TBLS. flaxmeal 1 Tbls. cream 1/4 cup water 1 tbls. butter Sweetner if you choose Microwave for 1 minute and 20 seconds on high NOTE: See Elizellen's comment below..flax is limited on induction.

| Quiche - got this from somebody on board!? 4 eggs, beaten 1 tbsp cream breakfast meat (ham, sausage, bacon) assorted desired veggies 2 oz shredded cheese Put in a dish, stir it up, and bake: 15 minutes at 450 degrees, then 25 minutes at 375 degrees. Let it set for 5 minutes or so after baking. Makes eggs not taste so much like eggs! =D

| Just a word of caution about using flax (linseed) on induction. Dr Atkins did suggest we could add one tablespoon of psyllium husk, wheat bran or ground flax on induction if we are getting constipated and need the extra fibre to help move things along. So induction amounts of these should only be one or maybe 2 tablespoons worth. You might need to halve quantities of recipes using more flax/bran/psyllium (or eat only half of the recipe) to stay within the limits while on induction Using flax in larger quantities would become 'legal' once you are at or past the seeds/nuts rung of OWL. And do up your water to keep things going!

| This recipe is not mine. I think it came from a cookbook by Dana Carpender but it is all over the net. I love it. Made some today. Leftover are really good for a snack too if some cravings set in. Heroin Wings 4 pounds chicken wings *** 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese 2 Tablespoons dried parsley 1 Tablespoon dried oregano 2 teaspoons paprika 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1/2 cup butter, melted 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. 2. Cut the wings, into pieces saving the pointy tips for making soup or broth. 3. Combine the Parmesan cheese and the parsley, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl. 4. Line a shallow baking pan with foil.( if you don't do this you will be sorry cause you will be scrubbing on this pan a week later). 5. Melt the butter in a shallow bowl or pan. 6. Dip each piece in butter, roll in the cheese and seasoning mixture, and arranged in the foil-lined pan. 7. Bake for 1 hour Nutritional Info
