Which Atkins Book Is Good For Me & Where Can I Buy Ketone Strips The Cheapest?

I am feeling like the "Queen Of Questions" on here, LOL. I did Atkins almost 6 years ago, and dont remember having a book that I read. I ordered this kit off of TV that had a VHS tape and came with Ketosis strips.

What book is right for me? I have heard of people that follow the Atkins Diet Revolution book, but that isnt even on the Atkins webite. The closest book to the one that I need that I can find on the Atkins website is Atkins For Life. Is the Diet Revolution book better, and if so, what year did it come out?

I am going to end up getting the book off of ebay since it will be alot cheaper.

Also, about how much do a pack of 100 keotone strips cost? I will probably try to get those off of ebay as well, and I need to know about how much they go for.

Im not sure about the ketostrips as I dont use them myself. As far as the book goes, you need the 2002 version of Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution (DANDR). I found my copy in a thrift store for $1. It is the last book Dr. A was involved in before his death and the one this board follows Good Luck!

I am in canada... I can get 50 ketone strips from about any pharmacy for about 7-10 dollars.... A good hint I read here a while ago was to cut the strips in half lengthwise... they last twice as long and while it is a bit tedius cutting them I think it is totally worth it... get the scissors out while you are watching your fav show on TV....
In Canada ( at least the ones I use) they are made by Bayer and they are called Ketostix....

Dr. Atkin's New Diet Revolution (paperback) - link to Amazon's site. You can get a used copy for $4.

I get my Ketostix at CVS, the local pharmacy. I believe I paid $11 for 100 sticks. I bought the store brand and found that they are sometimes cheaper in the diabetic section that another brand offered in the diet section!

I just bought it from ebay for 1.99!! The shipping was only 3.99, so mine should be here by Friday Just in time to try out some yummy recipes for the weekend!

Yes the DANDR 2002. And you know how Eric said $4 on Amazon, that includes shipping. SUPER deal. That's where I got mine. Also, I saw on some website that you can save extra moola (sp?) by cutting your ketostix in half. Works exactly the same.
