Good Morning everyone. How did your first day go? It was tough but I got through it. Day 2 here we come. Post your meal plans and exercise goals with me for day two. I think a lot of us may not plan out our meals ahead of time so I'm going to begin posting what I ate and my workout routines for the previous day. Sounds better? I posted for day one yesterdey so I'll post my progress from today tomorrow morning. I would like to know how everyones night went. Any tmeptations? Did it go smoothly? Anyone have the atkins flu already? I think I do

My first day was a bit tough by the end because I didn't pack adequate snacks and I stayed at work late. I was eyeing my peanuts that were sitting on my desk, but I resisted and bought some tuna fish as soon as I left work. I also bought a bunch of other stuff that should make this a bit easier. Day 2 plan B- 2 eggs scrambled and 2 bacon L- 2 cups romaine lettuce and chicken pan seared in olive oil with caesar dressing S- sugar free jello D- salmon with cauliflower (mashed like potatoes) with butter and parm cheese S- Revolution roll with pepperoni and cheddar Going to try to make the cauliflower crust pizza tonight to see if I can keep it to reheat for dinner tomorrow or lunch. It looks good. My workout this evening is 20 mins of HIIT and some intense ab work.

Good job! I'm glad you didn't give in. It can be so eay to fall off when your so hungry and have something right there but it's not atkins approved. But you did it! Question...what are revolutioanry rolls? are they induction friendly? why do I hear so many talk about them? Are they like tortilla wraps? how many carbs?

The revolution rolls are made of cream cheese, eggs, salt, onion powder, and cream of tar tar so they are induction friendly. How I made them: separate egg yolks from egg whites soften 3 oz of cream cheese mix the yolks and cream cheese then add tsp of onion powder add cream of tartar to egg whites and whip till you get firm peaks fold egg white mixture into egg yolk/cream cheese mixture gently put six globs into greased cupcake pan bake for 30-40 mins on 300 degrees I didn't have an electronic beater so my whites weren't stiff, just bubbly and they still came out acceptable. But they were a little eggy so I'm thinking of putting a little more cream cheese and adding some artificial sweetner. They still taste great if you use them with things that have strong flavor. They taste amazing with pepperoni and cheese IMO. |

Oh yeah, I think in the recipe I saw, they were quoted at .8 carbs. But to be safe, you can just add up your ingredients. BTW, my meals from yesterday didn't go exactly as stated (b/c I realized there were hidden carbs so I cut out the cauliflower and had another rev. roll with pepperoni and cheese). But I still think for me it's a good idea to put my plan before hand... gives me more incentive to stick to it. Good luck all!
