| Um.. not knowing your stats, I would guess that you're not eating enough. You're also not having enough veggies, and not to go more than 6 (I believe) hours without eating. Do you have a copy of the 2002 DANDR Book?

| I would cut your breakfast back to 2 eggs 2-3 strips of bacon, eat a salad with meats and cheeses in it for lunch, and then your dinner. I think you aren't eating enough and your body is confused about what to do. That's my take. One of the Atkins rules is that you never go more than 6 waking hours without eating.

| I agree with the previous posts...I think you are going to long between meals. When Im not hungry, I just grab a little something so I have at least had something if it is close to being 6 hours since my last meal, like today. Im just not really hungry at all.

| If you ate a smaller breakfast you probably would not be so full all day. You really should read the book. It's really important. Here's what Dr. A says in the Rules of Induction: 1. Eat either three regular-size meals a day or four or five smaller meals. Do not skip meals or go more than six waking hours without eating. 6. Adjust the quantity you eat to suit your appetite, especially as it decreases. When hungry, eat the amount that makes you feel satisfied but not stuffed. When not hungry, eat a small controlled carbohydrate snack to accompany your nutritional supplements The Rules of Induction can be found here: What are the Rules of Induction? The Induction Acceptable Foods List can be found here: What foods can be eaten on Induction? Good luck!

| Yeah, basically. You're totally not eating enough so your body probably thinks it's starving so it's trying to hold onto everything that you are eating. You know? I really suggest picking up a copy of the book, they're really not expensive, some folks even find it at second hand/used book stores.

| I'm only taking an educated guess, but if I add up the calories from everything you listed in the OP, I'm getting roughly 800-1000 calories. A young (OK, relative to me!), 283 pound male should be consuming a minimum 2100 calories a day just to meet his basal metabolic needs (at 6' 1", I burn over 2400 calories a day). You need to find ways to eat more -- bet you never heard that on a diet before! If you don't want to eat more quantity, then you need to look at more calorie-dense foods. That is why some think Atkin's proscribes fat so often -- it it the easiet way to double your calories without doubling your portion!
