Lexapro and Atkins

I bought the book and I am reading it to prepare myself to start the induction. I take Lexapro, and I noticed the book discusses that this type of drug may cause problems for weight loss. (which I believe based on my own weight gain.)

I also have read that low card diets are bad to go on with SSRI drugs.

I a thinking of getting off of it slowly but I don't want to delay the induction.

Anyone had any experiences with Lexapro or Prozac, etc. while doing Atkins? How was it?

I have eaten Atkins with Zoloft and WEllbutrin and was fine... well, not like, *fine* obviously, or I wouldn't have been taking them... but it didn't affect the weight loss. I think maybe the wellbutrin helped even.

If you decide to stop taking it, be sure to discuss with your doctor and to tritrate off according to their directions!!!
