| While I'm sure eating past satisfaction could be a reason to not lose as much as we want to, I do want to go another direction with your answer... You only want to lose 20 lbs. 5 lbs is 25% of your total amount to lose. I say that's great!!!! I lost 10 over 2 weeks of induction and that was out of 100 or so lbs to lose. So you are really doing FANTASTICALLY FABULOUS!!!!!

| appetite suppression is one of the wonderful benefits of this diet. however, Dr. Atkins said we should never go more than 6 waking hours without eating. if you are going that long or longer before your first meal is eaten for the day, your body maybe going into some sort of temporary starvation mode or something. even though you may not be hungry when you first wake up, you should really eat something to get your metabolism going for the day. try just eating a slice of cheese or maybe some pepperoni slices, a dill pickle, something small and see if that helps. you need to spread out your foods throughout the day. give it a try and see if that helps. best wishes, monie

| The average person loses 10% of the weight they need to lose during induction...so that fact that you lost 25% is truly amazing! I say plan your meals out so that you know what you are going to have. Plan some mini meals. If you are getting cravings then I would look at what you are eating that may be setting off the cravings. Artificial sweetners? Not enough water? Reaction to a certain food? hidden sugars?? You should be experiencing more appetite suppression than cravings. So take a look at your menu. Awesome job so far! Time for you to climb the rungs because you have so little to lose and there are important lessons there for you to learn so you can keep the weight off!
