| Good Morning, Aquaceri, Just wanted to let you know that you're not alone. I had a really tough induction too. I didn't feel "right" until the very end of my second week. During that time, I did a lot of laying around the house feeling pretty pitiful. One thing that helped me was eliminating my daily vitamin with iron, and taking one without. Also, I started adding in ground flax meal to help with the constipation. And, believe it or not, when I began exercising (even though it was the LAST thing I wanted to do with no energy) the endorphins kicked in and I started feeling better. I hope things get better for you, and that you have success on this WOE. Hang in there, Michelle

| Hi, I am on day 7 of induction and felt really bad for the first few days. I am still sparring with low energy and some aches. But, I haven't had a problem with constipation yet. My bloatedness left after a couple of days on induction. I have started to double my supplements for the aches and hope that it will help with the energy level. Just take it easy for a bit and see how that goes for you. Etire

| Hi Guys thanks for the responses...I am probably not eating enough veggies i must admit... I had a salad for lunch and feel a little better but not alot. I have been doing aerobics for about 45mins a day when i get home from work... I am on a tight budget at the moment and finding this diet quiet expensive so I am kind of sticking to the same straight forward induction foods which is getting very boring. I havent taken a vitimin yet but will buy some today as this has probably caused alot of my fatigue. I know I have nobody to blame but myself for not eating enough veg or taking the vits!?! I have flax at home so I might make a muffin in a minute when i get home; i know its not strictly an induction food but it will help with the constipation. If i get through today without giving up i can get through anything because this has been the most difficult one yet! I dont know what id do without these boards for support and encouragement. I want this stone to come off more than anything so hopefully i will plough on....think i expected magic and that by this week i would be half way there....so naieve! lol ![]() |

| The one minute muffin will help. I honestly have one like once a week, otherwise I dont think I would ever be able to go to the restroom! It does help me at least. I know how it is with this WOL and a tight budget, we just lost 1200.00 a month in income, so ours is super tight. One thing I do to help is besides watching for sales, I do my shopping in the mid morning...this way you can get good meat that the store has marked down because it is getting close to its "shelf life". I freeze all my meat till its time to use, so not a problem. Just prepare it (such as cutting and making patties and so forth) before freezing. This has saved us a ton! Watch for veggies to go on sale too and make use of them. I love peppers and they always go on sale. Things like these you can chop up, put in a freezer bag and freeze, so they last longer and are good for cooking with. I save some in the fridge when I want them raw and not cooked though

| I dont have the link for it anymore Basically it is a flax seed muffin, very quick and easy to make. It does go over the daily allowance of flax for induction, but like I said..I use it to help with constipation and it hasnt effected me. I know there are several others that have used this on induction as well.
