If you check the metabolic resistance chart in the book, you'll see that you have low metabolic resistance to weight loss. Dr. Atkins wrote that the people who can benefit most from staying on Induction longer than 2 weeks are the people with a high metabolic resistance to weight loss. From what I've seen on this board, if you have a low metabolic resistance to weight loss, staying longer on Induction does not guarantee "faster", "consistent" or "easier" weight loss. On the contrary, some low metabolic resistance folks found that they hit a stall if they stay on Induction too long. Moreover, On-Going Weight Loss Phase is where you learn how to eat for your body, which will decrease the chance of you regaining those 47 pounds. Additionally, Dr. Atkins wrote the last 5-10 pounds should be lost on Pre-Maintenance Phase. Pre-Maintenance Phase is very difficult to do if you haven't gone through On-Going Weight Loss Phase. So whatever you decide, just keep those things in mind. And congrats on losing 26% of the weight you need to lose. That's a huge accomplishment.

| Congratulations! You are doing FABULOUS!!!! Like not2late stated, you have already lost almost 26% of your weight. When you feel like you haven't lost much figure out the percentage and then think, if you had 100 lbs to lose, would you think 26 lbs wasn't enough?
