| During Induction you are allowed 3 to 4 tbsp heavy cream per day. |

| Heavy cream is limited to 2 - 3 tablespoons daily. But it is also listed in the Special Category Foods section as 3 ounces (fluid.) Please note the foods in the Special Category are there because they may cause weight loss difficulties in some people. By the way....how much coffee are you drinking at one go? 5 tablespoons is about 1/3 cup.

| Just curious, but why do some of the reciepes call for like 1/4 cup to 1 cup heavy cream but the net carbs are less than what the cream would be for the whole thing? Any idea? SueSue1212

| They might be figuring the net carbs per serving of the recipe, rather than the total recipe. So read any recipe very carefully, and re-check the carb counts on them. I've found discrepancies in carb counts in popular low carb cookbooks and fitday.com or the USDA Nutrient Database. So re-check those counts yourself.

| Heavy cream stalls me! I have to only have a tsp or two a day in my coffee.

| ALl the cream in Aus is thick, heavy cream - it's not runny at all... you like... get a 'dollop' on your spoon when you stick it in. This is the same right?

| Yes, Dot, the same stuff. When I buy our 'double cream' here in UK it starts off as runny but if I dont open the pot for a few days it has gone solid as you describe it. If I want it to be runny I just add water and mix it in to the preferred consistency.
