| Induction flu is different for everyone. Some people experience that vertigo feeling, especially, in the early times. It's not fun, but getting through the detoxing time period that Induction is about is essential to helping clean out your body. But you don't need to starve it or go without food, so make sure you're eating and when you're eating you're eating fats and proteins with your veggies---that might help more. There's that slight idea that you could be too low on your carbs, too. I normally would say, suck it up and keep going on the exercise...but in the case of feeling dizzy and wuzzzy, I'd say slow it up a bit (don't stop, just slow it up Hope that helps some

| *edited after i read the above post posted while I was typing* I haven't had these problems due to the diet, but I do get some vertigo due to something else (not sure what the dr hasn't figured me out yet and it's been happening for about a year) Did you eat before your workout? Low blood sugar can cause dizziness...

| Ya, I have it and I am on day 11. I feel worse then I have felt in my ENTIRE life. My legs are so weak I can hardly stand. And Ballet... What a joke. Dizziness wakes me up every night, and nausia. I am so weak I can hardly even sit up properly. I hate this. Anyways, just to let you know that maybe what you are feeling is common... maybe not. But I feel like I am on the verge of maybe death. |

| My advice is, first, make sure you are hydrating properly each and every day. A minimum of 64 ounces of water plus more to compensate for activity level. Secondly, make sure you are eating enough and you are eating the right foods. Often because of our formerly calorie sensitive ways, people don't eat their veggies (all of them) and protein. Take your vitamins as Dr. Atkins recommends as part of the Atkins plan. And finally, if you are having Induction flu, this too shall pass. Otherwise, if dizziness persists, make sure you are healthy with a checkup.

| Thanks for the advice. I generally have breakfast before working out. I normally bike for 45 minutes, today I went down to 30 because I couldn't take it. I try really hard to eat veggies (it's tough though because they don't taste so good |

| look for different ways to eat the veggies... the CAN taste FABULOUS!!! My hubby HATES green beans. Tonight I pan fried 2 slices of bacon and then crunched them up and poured drained canned green beans into the pan. He ate them... they tasted like bacon! There are a lot of ways to cook it so it tasted fabulous!
