| If you post your menu it would be easier to help you out! How much avocado are yu having? This is a "special food" and we can have 1/2 of an avocado per day. That said, 1kg in 5 days isn't too terrible. I lost about 2.26 kg on my first week of induction. The second week another 2.26 and it didn't show up until morning of day 7. I suggest just weighing either 1x/week or 1x per induction!

| We can expect to lose 5-10% of the weight we need to lose during the 14 Day Induction. You're on Day 5---you still have 9 more days to go! So be patient. You have a 20 kg weight loss goal according to your stats. That means you can expect to lose 1-2 kg during the 14 days.

| Hi April, I think Bonnie is right; if you post your menu and the problem is something you are eating or not eating enough of, they can help sort it out quickly. Also, I've heard alot of people say that on Atkins weight loss is not linear, so it's possible that your loss may not show up now, but maybe in a few days or a week in a large chunk. Are you losing any inches? It's possible that your metabolic resistance might be higher than average. I know there are ways to break through that if you find that's the case, so don't get discouraged! |

| don't get discouraged! you're not even half way through induction and you actually lost something! how often do you get to eat like this and not have to suffer? I haven't lost much weight, but it's true, you lose inches too...my love handles are less obvious. you can do it! don't quit now! as for exercise, are you doing cardio? It's tough but it works better, no pain no gain right? (: |

| I've been on Atkins for 7 days and I feel inches off...not so bloated. Don't go by the scales so much. You know we girls have water weight during the month. Keep going! |
