| Eat that turkey every day... just thinking maybe there's sugar in the red wine vinegar? I got it from the cafeteria at work so I don't know the ingredients.

| Hey Bonnie....I checked around for several red win vinegars...and only a few has sugar but it was like 1 gram and I don't think one gram of sugar would have you feeling that way...So now I'm not sure... Are u close to TOM? |

| Hi Bonnie, I'm wondering if you are feeling any better by now? You are on induction still right? I had that same thing happen my second day, though I know you are further along. My husband and I were out biking and I was so weak I had to turn around and go home. I was dizzy, and I literally could have laid on the side of the road and went to sleep. The weakness was what really freaked me out though. I was re-reading part of Dr. Atkin's book and it talks about losing large amounts of calcium and other vitamins rapidly and I'm wondering if maybe your body just lost too much and the supplements you are taking have not had time to build up in your system yet. Maybe it has nothing to do with it, but I did recall that part of the book as soon as I read your post. I hope you are feeling better. Jen |

| here's a thought, i just plugged in all the food you listed into fitday(estimating the red wine vinegar and olive oil). it came up to 22 carbs - 4 for fiber. in one sitting you consumed approx. 18 g of carbs. your carbs should be spread throughout the day rather than in one meal. you could just be going through a "carb rush" for lack of a better term. your body may just be on overload due to so many carbs all at once. just my thoughts.....hope you feel better

| Avocados are pretty high on the list of foods that trigger migraine. Is that a new food for you? What day of induction are you on? |

| I am almost done with week 1 of EXTENDED INDUCTION. I've eaten all of this for lunch pretty much every day. I have a hard time with carbs (even veggie/dairy carbs) early in the morning so I usually eat around 15 on my salad at lunch. Then around 5 just from veggies at dinner. But I knew I was going out that night and for a risk of not being able to have veggies had them almost all at lunch yesterday. Oh I've never done the olive oil/red wine vinegar thing before (I had 1Tbsp of EVOO and 1/2 Tbsp of the RWV.) So anyway I called the endocrynoligist after it didn't go away for an hour (I was at work so it was SO inconvenient to feel that way.) He asked me if my one co-worker was there who has him as a Dr for her diabetes and he told me to have her poke me and check my bs levels. I was extremely low, so he had me eat a packet of sugar (he gave me the choice of that or going up to the cafeteria for OJ or a sweet but I figured the tsp of sugar was better than those things) It went away in about 5 minutes after I swallowed the sugar down with 2 glasses of water... Anyway, I was always hypoglycemic as a kid and we thought I grew out of it but it looks like I more likely just masked it with being overweight. I am still extremely overweight for my 59" frame, but a drop of weight must have triggered something??? I am going to be getting a monitor from him on Monday and will be keeping track throughout the day just to see what happens. He said it is most likely that I will end up being hypoglycemic again after I am done losing weight. Thanks for the concern! I am glad I had here to go, in the even that it wasn't that bad, I'm sure your advice would have been correct!
