| Without knowing how much weight you need to lose it is hard to tell if you are doing phenomenally well or just averagely well but Well done you!! They will be calling you Littlesmooth soon I am sure!!

| Then you are doing phenomenally... The book says 10% in the first 2 weeks is good. You've done much better than that by losing almost 33%. That being said, I hope you're not starving yourself. Are you eating according to the plan? I was also always able to lose more than the 10% during induction, but not that much. Please, share your meals with us so that we can get an idea of what you're doing. Again, congrats on your quick loss. Rick |

| Thanks Rick This is a typical days menu for me. Breakfast 2 eggs scrambled with spinach Snack 1 small bowl of cauliflower steamed Lunch steak, fish or chicken with salad Dinner same as lunch minus the salad or tuna salad That with plenty of water. I'm not really hungry at all. My appetite has been supressed on this diet. Since i've been drinking only water for the pass 9 days, i'm really craving diet coke. Is that a no no on induction phase? |

| Many people have stalls w/ aspartame... Dr A prefers us to only use up to 3 servings per day of artificial sweetners and his prefered choice is Splenda *Sucralose*

| Hey bigsmooth - firstly congrats on the weightloss! That's fantastic. Secondly, I too have had cravings for diet coke and what I've done is buy a couple of the small 500ml bottles of it and have a sip or two every now and then. Probably just twice a day I'll have 3 or 4 sips. It doesn't seem to stall me and I've kept in ketosis (fingers crossed). Anyway keep up the good work! Pamela |

| Hey fantastic results! Good for you! Just a quick reply to the diet coke question. You can buy diet coke made with splenda (sucralose) now. You just have to look at the label. The can will have a little Splenda insignia on near the bottom. I know that it's better to just have water, but I also have a terrible craving for carbonated pop, and have found that having one on occasion has not stalled my progress. Best of luck! Jen |
