I grate mine first then put them in the microwave (covered) for a few minutes till nearly done, then remove the cover and zap for another minute to dry them out a bit.

My husband prefers caulirice with curry to the basmati rice I used to serve with it.

Here are the answers from last time you asked... I just pasted them here... Hope that helps!

here's a couple links that might help you out....i don't think you can actually buy cauliflower is in stores though, so yes you would just buy regular cauliflower (fresh or frozen) and use a cheese grater to get the "riced" effect.

a cheese grater is the best way if you don't have a ricer.... but there is a tool called a ricer that is used for potatoes.... If you can find one at a kitchen store then after you cook the cauliflower, you "rice it" through this gadget Click here for an example. That's WIlliams Sanoma though. I know someone would have one for less money than that but it really is very handy! I got one as a wedding gift (the one you see on the link)

I use a food mincer to make my 'caulirice' by putting the raw cauliflower through it to mince it into small bits then I microwave it.

A potato masher works fine too. That's what I use.
