| If you are just getting started, as it appears, I would call those first couple of days 'practice' and start over 'for real.' Turnips spinach eggs mayo pico de gallo (throw in scrambled eggs) cream cream cheese boneless pk chops and chicken breasts ground meat sliced pickles cucumbers avocado black olives romaine celery canned salmon onions flax (great for the binder in salmon patties!) frozen veggies, broccoli, brussel sprouts, etc, the steam in bags of these are great butter good oil, olive or grapeseed (cheaper at health food store than supermarket)

| All those are similar to what I used, minus the flax (you're only allowed a couple of teaspoon amounts if you absolutly need it for fiber), but I also had pumpkin. And...set your sights up higher right now how you're going to reach your goal. Rather than telling yourself it's okay to eat this or that because it's a celebration for whatever reason, practice how you're going to repond to the foods around you because there will be forever celebrations, holidays, and excuses to get in your way of your goal. Best wishes!

| Hi there, I was at 3.5 weeks of induction (refered to as Extended Induction) when I had my first cheat this Saturday. Like you, it was a CRASH, not a slip, so I started fresh the very next morning. I'm starting over completely in hopes to undue the damage I've done. My biggest staple food for induction is salad!! I mix it up by using different types of lettuce, throwing in some olives & bits of avacado every now and then and changing my salad dressings often. It's very important to keep up the fresh veggie intake, so salads are perfect! Good luck! |

| Thanks so much for your replies. I realize now that the food was not worth it, slipping up set me back two days, who knows what i could've lost those two days! I will remember this the next time theres a family event or a dinner and I want to cheat, it really in the end isn't worth it. I have an appointment to go look at a school on the 20th and id really like to be able to fit in my jeans that are a size below the ones i'm wearing now I think I can do it! I can get them on, theyre just slightly tight around the hips
