| Oh, what an inspiration. Last week I started cheating and eating carbs, Before I knew it has been binge after binge after binge. I lost 40 pounds on the atkins diet after 14 weeks of no cheating on the diet. Fortunately I have so far only gained back 4 pounds after all this nonsense.Someone please help me before I gain back everything I have worked so hard to lose. I donno why I started cheating, I was not even hungry when I started stuffing carbs into my mouth! How do I stop this cycle of yoyo dieting. I have been in this position so many times over the years. Lose weight only to put it all back on. Donno how to summon the strength to take control of my diet again. |

| I can totally understand what you are going through.. I got married 7 years ago, and since then, I am constantly on and off diets. I think I wasn't ready for commitment, and I still can't get used to being so busy and overwhelmed with marital life. There is always a reason for my binge attacks. I am tired, I am sad, I am bored, I am overwhelmed! I have taken a different approach this time. I try to binge on exercising! I know that sounds funny, but whenever I feel sad or tired, I put one of my dvds ( pilates or yoga! when I am tired, or something more upbeat like strength training or cardio when I am bored!) and within few minutes, I feel so good about myself that my urge to binge disappears. I still have my bad days. But, I try not to feel guilty about it because that will trigger more bingeing. I just accept the fact that I messed up and try to put it behind me! I have been binge eating free since August. So, just hang in there. I am sure you will succeed.
