| Great job getting through 2 weeks induction! Nope, you're not the only one with this fear---I've had that anxiety before. It's frightening to try something new. But you really will suceeed in OWL as you move up the rungs as long as you do it right, one at a time. If you feel like you're completely losing control over food in a rung, you back down to the rung before and/or skip that rung (for instance because I choose not to drink alcohol during my trials through OWL, I skipped rung 5 and entered rung 6). You might also find a great benefit of losing even more weight as you move up as some people have posted. But you won't know unless you try

| When you move to OWL, you add 5 net carbs of the OWL foods. So the first foods you add are an additional 5 net carbs of Induction veggies.

| I know how you feel because I just went through it myself. Two weeks ago I moved up to rung 3, seeds and nuts, and at first, I did fine but then I started eating way too many nuts at a time and knew I was going to gain weight if I didn't stop. It took 3 days but I finally gave up the nuts and yesterday was my first day back to eating right. So I'm back to rung 2 and plan on staying there for a while. The trick is to not let your fear take over your eating. Make a plan that you will stop any destructive behavior before it gets out of hand then rest assured that you can go back if you need to and not let a small setback ruin the great progress that you've made so far. Good luck and remember we are all here to help you. |
