| Almost everyone who has done Atkins multiple times will tell you that its slower each time. 4 pounds in a week is pretty good in my opinion and if you dont have very much to lose then you will lose a lot more slowly than someone like me with lots to lose. Are you exercising? Can you post a typical days menu and maybe some stats like height/weight/age/ etc... that will help us to give you a more educated answer

| Depending on how much weight in total you hope to lose that might be a terrific loss for a week! Most people lose between 5% and 10% of the pounds they hope to lose in the first 2 weeks on induction, which would be about 5-10 pounds for someone with 100 pounds to lose. Take a look at the chart in DANDR after your 14 days on induction and see what your metabolic resistance to weightloss is.

| jakey, i have seen posts where someone lost 30lbs in the first month.. and here i am just at the 2 month mark and only lost 17 ?? but i have to stop and think..wait.. 17 lbs is huge... figures out to 2 lbs a week.. thats not bad... you too are not going to lose exactly like anyone else... but when you look at the big picture... any loss is good ! its not gain, its not status quo, its losing ! yay jakey !! |
