Default Quite possibly the best thing about this diet....

Other than the weight loss. I've only lost 3.5 pounds on induction so far, but you know what I have noticed the most? The cravins are CONTOLLABLE. omg, i'm sure many of you can relate, that on a high carb or low calorie diet, you just feel like you NEED food and you NEED it RIGHT NOW and you just have to drop everything and go eat that chocolate bar. There is really no hope, you just have to go get it now. You can't focus otherwise. Maybe after you will be able to focus on your work or whatever you're doing, but until t hen - no way.

On this diet, I just dont FEEL like that. Or if I get a craving, it actually GOES AWAY if i ignore it. Like, is this how 'normal' skinny people feel? I was a huge binge eater, and no matter how hard I tried I couldn't control the cravings. Although somtimes now I get the urge, the craving goes away in like, ten minutes max and doesn't really reoccur. Before it was so so so bad.

Anyway so yea...yay to stable blood sugar!

That is certainly a HUGE bonus to this way of eating. I agree that I can tell what foods are my issues and cause "cravings" and which ones I don't have to worry about eating.

I agree! Other times I've tried to lose weight, I would always get obsessive about food, what can I eat next, etc. Plus I went around hungry all the time, like a big hole inside which could never be filled, and feeling so deprived and miserable.

Now, I really don't feel deprived or hungry whatsoever! This rocks!!!

I definetly agree with you. I used to bake chocolate chip cookies and eat them while they were still warm. I'd limit myself to how many I should have but never stuck with it. Now I can make them and I don't eat any, and I don't stress about it. I'll have a class of water or sugar free ice tea and sip that while I'm baking and never eat a cookie. Amazng even to me

I was just thinking the exact same thing now - I was looking at my fitday food logs and thinking, wow, I must have cut my calories to 1/4 (or less) of what I was previously eating and i'm never hungry! I'm always satisfied. Content. Comfortable. What a great feeling! I thought I would never feel like this again.
