| thanks so much for your advice...it seems to me that nuts for a couple of days as a small tester is a good idea. I'll report back soon! L |

| hi there...and haha!! No ways! Living on lettuce as my only carb would be a killer! I love food! Here is a sample of my menu plan (yesterday) B/fast - 3 eggs scrambled with chives, 3 mushrooms and half a small red onion snack - 2 pieces of endive with philadelphia cream cheese Lunch - cold meat slices, cheese and 2 cherry tomatoes Dinner - shepherd's pie (minced beef, 1/2 red pepper, onion topped with creamed califlower puree) snack (felt so bad) 1 flat teaspoon on unsweetened (bitter) cocoa powder with a few drops of sugar substitute, 15gms single cream and hot water!! I know its not a perfect Induction menu but I've been so tired...I'm sure the nuts are a healthier alternative so that's what I'll be doing today. L |

| OOOh man this is exactly me -- what you have described but I didnt link it to low blood pressure...but I do have low blood pressure normally so maybe it is getting even lower! I have done what the other posters have said to prevent this from happening cuz the last time it happened when I was on Atkins I couldnt continue cuz I was so scared that it would happen again but my symptoms were severe and i have five kids to take care of...symptoms were heart beating fast, trouble walking, major exhaustion, i felt like I couldnt make a fist, just an all over major weak feeling. This time i've added in another cup of salad, and 20 almonds which seems so far to have helped greatly. I never want to feel like that again. So far I have lost 4 kilos and this is day 8...I wasnt supposed to get on the scale this morn but i just wanted to take a peek and i have lost another kilo. So it is working fine for me. You just have to tweak it to where you are feeling well and losing weight...So good luck!
