| sugar free gum is allowed but not recommended. One of the purposes of induction is to break your body of it's addictions. Some people can handle the artificial sweetners and for others it has been known to stall. In either case artificial sweetners are limited to 3 per day so don't forget to count them.

| I dont have the 2002 edition of the book, i have the 1992 edition, but i am pretty sure that Sorbitol is a definate no no. this is what it says in my book " Sweetners such as sorbitol, mannitol, and other hexitols are not allowed "
