Hey mummy! Welcome to the board! First and foremost of course you can succeed! Just put your mind to it. Give 100% and you'll get 100% back! It sounds like you're dealing with a lot of what I've been dealing with. I'm 26 and I started out at 196, I only have 1 child...so far I'm also 5'2".

My one tiny little concern is that your goal weight seems rather low. I've read all over the internet that 115 is the "minimum" weight before you'e boardering underweightness. If that's your choice that's totally cool, I just wanted to point that out. I know I have 115 as my goal weight but I'm probably going to rethink that as I get closer to goal. It all depends on how I feel and look, etc. I don't want to be bone thin, ya know?

Come here often and if you want an email buddy or whatever I'm totally here for you! It's kinda cool our stats are so close!

Hey I was looking at Fitday.com and it says a healthy weight range our women of our size is 101-130...so I guess my other source isn't right. Who knows. Whatever your goal weight is you'll look awesome!

Welcome.
Another 5'2'' person here. I am a mommy of one teenager. You can do it mummy. Take one day at a time and one minigoal at a time. I bet you will start feeling the motiviation when those first pounds come off so make sure you do a clean Atkins induction.

I don't think there is a bootcamp going on right now. But on the other hand September is about to start and that means loads of exercise challenges are starting. I usually sign up for squats, push ups and abs. There is a new one with exercise video now - that one encourage you to do measurements. Check the exercise challenge forum. Hope to see you there.
Exercise Challenges - Atkins Diet
I will do the water challenge in September too. It really helps me with my water consumption. That challenge is posted in the Challenge Forum
Challenges - Atkins Diet
You can find the How Long Can You Go Cheat Free challenge there too.

That goal seems a bit low to me also. I would like to point out that with Atkins you will be exercising more and will have more muscle mass therefore weigh more but look smaller than you are. Maybe set your goal a bit higher...you can always change it once you get there rather than one you may not reach. Also maybe go more by a size or a pair of jeans. Don't forget to measure yourself as there are lots of times when the scale does not move but the inches do. You can do this!!
