Default Day 2 and feelin' irritable

Yes, it's day two of my induction and I'm feeling pretty cranky!! Just ask my family!
I got Fitday set up which is fun.
I don't have a kitchen right now and our living room is empty as well as we recently had our floors refinished in order to prepare our house to list on the market.
So there are seven of us sharing a very small space and cooking with a microwave and toaster oven. The teenagers are getting to me! All the kids are boys and having them all in a small space is getting stressful and this is only day 3 of no kitchen. It will be this way for another 2 weeks atleast.
Also it's back to school tomorrow and back to work for me which is stressing me.
So why did I start Atkins now? I am just really fed up of my bad habits, low energy and addictive eating.
However, today, I really could have caved and told myself to wait until things are back to normal. We are moving to a large new home at the end of November but that is still 3 months away and I don't want to wait to take care of my health.
Thanks for letting me vent because today has been hard. It would have been easy to just cave into the carbs for comfort but so not worth it.
I think if I wasn't able to come here to vent, I really would have caved. Now I am feeling stronger. Thanks for 'listening'.
Also, I don't use artificial sweeteners except for the occasional starbucks treat so I'm really missing my sweets but I really want to break the sweet habit whether it's stevia etc. I went to the drugstore ( only thing open on labour day) to buy some cream and cream cheese and the chocolate was practically jumping into my cart! But I did not buy it. Pretty sad when you can hardly stand up to a bar of chocolate!!

Good job standing up to that chocolate bar!! That is what is called progress~~give yourself a pat on the back.

The crankiness from detoxing should pass within a few days & you should experience a surge of energy. No guarentee that life won't cause some crankiness~~you sure have alot going on!

Feel free to vent! You may want to start a journal which is helpful to keep track of your progress etc.. There are also many challenges starting as it is the first of the month. Check some out & join in!

Oh my, do I know how you feel!! Wednesday was day 3 for me and I did not want to be near anyone (my BFF wanted to throw me in front of a bus), BUT I promise it will get better. After I went to bed Wednesday and put my miserable self to sleep, I felt much bettter Thursday morning and all the urges are gone. I hope this helps, when my friend told me I did not believe her but she and I will tell you the same!! Great job with the chocolate bar!!!
