Default I might have induction flu - day 6

Hi everyone,
Just as I started to type this, one of my rings swiveled on my finger for the first time since starting induction!!
The last couple of days I have been feeling a little tickle in the throat and this morning I woke up and could hardly speak due to congestion.
I feel extremely warm - could it be my metabolism revving up or maybe I have a fever, I'll have to check.
I don't know if I've just caught a little cold or if this is induction flu.
Otherwise, I am so happy that I've been sticking to a clean induction.
The cravings are pretty much gone, and my 'real' food is tasting so good.
I love the cauliflower and pumpkin purees at dinner for something warm.
As for eggs. I've always loved eggs and my regular breakfast before Atkins was one fried egg and one whole grain toast. I don't miss the toast. Lately I have been having a cheese omelet. I come by a love of eggs naturally as my dad has eaten bacon and eggs every morning for breakfast for as long as I can remember.
Also, celery with cream cheese is my new favorite snack and it feels so indulgent. I have always liked, eggs, cheese and cream so I'm loving the induction food.
I find it helpful to have my dh barbecue a whole whack of chicken breasts, or sugar-free sausage or burger patties, pork chops etc. then we always have some on hand as long as our teens don't clean us out.
Also helpful, I stopped at Costco and picked up two roast chickens and took all the meat of the bones and put into a container
Then when I make my lunch salad, I throw in some shredded chicken, lots of veggies, olives, avocado, and a little sharp cheese and add a little bit of Newman's Own Oil and Vinegar dressing (It's the only sugar free one I've found so far).
I am already feeling more energy except today with these flu symptoms.
I don't have any headaches or brain fog anymore, and I'm not feeling those blood sugar lows - shaky, headachy- foggy. I can go longer without eating, if I have to at work without feeling like I'm going to pass out.
I am seeing so many benefits already and it's only day 6. It's wonderful!
Thanks for giving me a place to write this all down.
You are such a supportive bunch!!!!

Sounds like you are doing great! Keep going! Don't forget to measure yourself as there are times when we don't lose weight by the scale but still lose inches...weird but true!

It will pass I was sick my first 2 days then it was gone the next day. Your body has to adjust to your new way of eating.

Chiloe - are you feeling better today? Hope so!

Sounds like you are doing a great job so far, only thing not mentioned could be worth consideration - possibly behind the scenes adding to any symptoms you are experiencing, even if it is a cold:
WATER!

Make sure you are drinking plenty of it!!
