I am sure if we look hard enough we could find my post on here that states something similar to yours. This is normal. I wish you had measured in the beginning because you would have a better idea of what you have accomplished. When I was feeling frustrated I read some great posts by SHerri and also this thread. It really puts things in perspective: http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...dbits-tabekats- This adds some humor and a better understanding on things! Stick with it...be patient and enjoy it! You are going to be so HOT!

I know what you mean. I have been on extended induction know and I have lost 15 pounds in 5 weeks but for 2 of those weeks the scale did not move at all!!I even gave up sweetners, diet soda, I only drank water and I drank 80-120 ounces a day. I was so disgusted and then I found out some interesting information Our fat cells actually have a defense system and as they shrink in size they maintain their size by taking in water. It can take 6 weeks to eliminate that excess fluid. You said you have been drinking a 100 ounces of water a day. Have you noticed if you have been visiting the ladies room as much as you probably should? It could be possable that you are losing the fat but carrying the water. You may be one of those people like me that sheds 6-8 pounds in a week than nothing for 2weeks than shed another 5-6 pounds of water. Keep up the good work! You will see the results if you are patient! Here is the original post: The defense system of the fat cell

you will see results! I too lose weight in a very sluggish manner. I don't know if it is metablolism or what. I do know that it will come off eventually, but it won't come off in large spurts very often. Continue to monitor your measurements--that was where I was going wrong in the beginning as I just relied on the scale. The inches will come off as you replace the fat with muscle. I promise

Hope you are feeling better as your day progresses. Are you eating enough?? And what about those pepperoni slices? Do they have sugar? Keep hanging in there. And remember the other benefits, not just the number on the scale. chiloe
