| I am no expert on this diet but my advice would be (or rather a question?!?!!!) are you drinking enough water? You seem to be doing so well and have been really positive, would be a shame to give in now! You can do it! |

| Yes i'm getting in all my water and taking my multi vitamins and everything but I have zero energy. I'm not looking at eating oatmeal as blowing it i'm just looking at is as I need some carbs for energy and i'm not giving up at all. |

| Have you checked your blood sugar? That's how I feel when I when I get hypoglycemic, that and shakey. It ususally settles down for me after I've gone a couple of weeks with no cheats. But I had to actually drink a tad bit of oj on Monday morning before I could even drive to work because my blood sugar was at 68, and I didn't want to drive until I knew it was stable and not dropping any more. |

| it does sound like low blood sugar or induction flu, In a few days your body your body will adjust to the new way of eating and you will have more energy then ever. Just hang in there.

| It may be your induction flue. Is that the first time during induction you felt like this? Induction flue is natural and you should not carb but rest and wait for it to pass.

| OK, Guys I did eat carbs, I had oatmeal and I think it gave me some of the energy I needed. I am back on track and will stay off the scale or try to for a few days. I am still trying to be in a loose 14 by the end of the month. I'M ALL GOOD NOW, Hopefully I can keep my energy up. |

More importantly, why are you sabotaging yourself? And why are you making excuses to sabotage yourself? You do realise that the more you fall off the plan the more you set yourself back, don't you?

| It wasn't an excuses to sabotage myself it was the fact that I couldn't keep my eyes open for more than 2 hours without dozing off which never happens when i'm eating carbs and I teach college so I can't be lecturing and falling asleep. I am glad I ate that oatmeal cause it seems to have given me energy. I am not back on track and ready to keep going. If anyone has ideas on what to do when you have no energy please let me know i'd rather not eat the carbs I need some ideas for energy though. I had one pack of kashi oatmeal and the rest of the day I was back to low carb. Here is a typical menu for me. ____________________________ Breakfast: Eggs and 1/4 cup dry roasted edamame Snack: cheese stick Lunch: Turkey Susage, 1 cup of salad snack: 1/4 cup edamame, 1/2 cup SF Jello Dinner: Chicken breast, zuchini with cheese grated on it Snack: Cheese stick, other half of SF Jello |
