Ya, I eat Mcdonalds chicken, bacon ranch salad when I need something quick and on the go. I toss the dressing though cuz its loaded with carbs and sugar. The salad does have some large carrot peices in it so I just pick those out... I figured it out and its about 8 carbs or so You can also eat a burger and toss the bun.

In an emergency, those salad & burgers without toppings/dressings/buns/etc can get you by, but why waste your money unless you've got to train up a kid to be hooked on junk food, or you like to feed the sparrows?

The same $1 (or more) can go farther if you shop ahead for things you can carry along with you, and if you don't have to go to fast food places, then you don't have to spend the time in line, either.

I'd hate to tell you how many bunless double cheeseburgers I ate off the dollar menu while I was navigating my way through Atkins!! It worked for me, though.

I get the grilled chicken sandwich and toss the bun and have it with may a tomato and the one piece of lettuce that they give you. Make sure it is the grilled not the breaded.

For breakfast we sometimes get bacon egg and cheese biscuits minus the biscuit or sausage and egg biscuits without the biscuit. I find that we need to go inside to get the order right.
