| Jalapenos are fine. They are not high carb. I figure they are all lumped under 'peppers' in the list. I had some peppers filled with cream cheese, wrapped in bacon and cooked on a grill. Divine!

| Momtomany is correct. Peppers on the list means sweet bell peppers and chili peppers. The another "encompassing" veggie is lettuce. Lettuce means iceberg, bibb, Boston, green leaf, red leaf, deer's tongue, oak leaf, etc.

| I make jalapenos stuffed with a cream cheese and crab mixture, sometimes wrapped in bacon, sometimes not. Delicious.

| I often stuff sweet red and yellow peppers (bell peppers in USA?) with cream cheese and eat them raw. They are really sweet and crisp which with the creamy cheese satisfies three taste sensations!! Recently Lidl has had packs of small yellow ones as well as the long pointy red ones which makes a colourful platefull!
