| Are you concerned because you are in discomfort and feel you 'need to go' but cannot because you are blocked up? I would suggest in that case trying some glycerine suppositories.

| This is not a product Dr. Atkins recommended, but I use it and I love it. It's not cheap but it works great. Other than that, I recommend water water water. The 90 count capsules is $20 bucks and it lasts me 3 months. I take one in the evening with dinner and a big glass of water. https://web2.herbdoc.com/index.php?o...d=17&Itemid=38 ![]() |

| I'm drinking 100+ ounces of water a day. I feel like I have to go, but I can't. I'm a little bloated but not to the point where I am uncomfortable. On my previous diet I would have one to two BM's a day, when I switched to Atkins things have slowed down quite a bit. Usually I would just eat a bunch of fruit, but that is a no-no on induction. Elizellen: What exactly is a glycerine suppository, and how fast do they normally work? I'm going to pop a few exlax tonight before bed to see if I can get things moving. My only concern is that the box mentions that it is a stimulant. I don't want these pills to stop my progress, but seeing as how I'm fairly close to my goal I wouldn't mind if I stalled for a few days. However, if the exlax doesn't work I will try the other suggestions. I'm getting pretty desperate. |

| Something that will "loosen you up" is Vitamin C. If you don't take it regularly, 1,000 mg. will probably get you going (your body eliminates any extra it can't use) ... if you do take it daily, then double that dose ... works for me, without cramping, unlike laxatives.

| Hi, Try some hot wings from Ruby Tuesday's or Tyson's frozen hot wings. I believe the carb count is like 3 wings per 1 carb but don't forget to count 2 tablespoon's for blue cheese if you wish to use it. That will get your motor running!!! lol Nothing else works for me!! Good luck |

| personally, i've never used psyllium, but i do have a question. are you getting all the veggies you should? there's so much fiber in them that you really shouldn't be having a problem if you're eating enough veggie fiber. you might try some broccoli or cabbage both are good sources of fiber. i hope you find comfort soon. monie |

| I found some info on how they work here Glycerin Suppositories And a photo of some without the wrapper - they look like little bullets made of a stiff jelly. They are supplied with some sort of wrapping which you need to take off first.

| Try making some hot flaxmeal cereal. To make it, take 1/3 cup of flaxmeal and add 1/3 cup heavy cream, 1 packet splenda, and some cinnamon. Microwave it for 1 minute. You can add a little more cream as it may be thick. It is delicious and has a laxative effect as it is 100% fiber. |
