Default Has Anyone Done Induction Without Cheese or Cream?

I am sensitive to milk, but can eat cheese in small amounts. Unfortunately, I know from past experience that it slows down my weight loss drastically, and may actually stall me altogether.

Has anyone tried doing Induction without including cheese and cream? Have you felt satiated enough doing so? Can you keep your fat percentages up enough?

Thanks

I've not tried omitting cheese and cream, but would think it is possible to eat enough fat without them.

If you can have butter, the fat from chicken, bacon and other meats plus the various oils including coconut oil to add either during or after cooking foods it is certainly do-able.

Avocadoes and eggs have a high fat content too.

I forgot about coconut oil. I appreciate the reminder. Are avocados allowed on Induction? My booklists them for OWL.

Thank You

You are allowed 1/2 an avocado on induction.

Yes, as D3anna said, it is one of those foods we can have now and again to liven up our induction choices.

Special Category Foods
To add variety, each day you can also eat ten to twenty olives, half a small avocado, one ounce of sour cream or three ounces of unsweetened heavy cream, as well as two to three tablespoons of lemon juice or lime juice. But be aware that these foods occasionally slow down weight loss in some people, and may need to be avoided in the first two weeks. If you seem to be losing slowly, moderate your intake of these foods.

Mayo would also help. I use Hellman's Canola.

Thank you Elizellen and D3anna on the avocado tip. I LOVE avocado!

Think my new treat will be taco salad with home canned salsa (NO sugar) and AVOCADO! Whoohooo!
