| I know what you mean, this morning i was excited to make Johnsinville breakfast sausgae links and when I read the back it said it was made with corn syrup, 2 carbs per 3 links. I hated eating 6 carbs for breakfast with the eggs and bacon I ate. I will be waiting right along side you for an answer.

| I use Plumrose sugar free, lower sodium bacon. I buy it at WalMart. It's not nitrate free, however. Edited to add: The package nutritional label lists 0 gms sugar and 0 gms carbs |

| I get my bacon directly from the butcher part of the grocery store. Nothing is added to their meat. Then I just put them in the microwave for about four minutes and they're done! |

| Each grocery store may be different, but mine only has bacon as far as breakfast goes. Next to the butcher is a fridge section where they keep all of their sausage and all that stuff. I buy sweet italian sausage and have it for breakfast every morning. They are great but have 1 gram of carbs but they have not stalled me at all. Good luck |
