| Hi there and welcome to ADBB I'm not sure if you have Dr. Atkins book or not? But Dr. A does limit the amount of cream allowed on induction to a few tablespoons I do believe it is, plus an occasional extra amount that he talks about that's listed under the 'special category list'. The reasoning he gives is because some people tend to have problems losing weight if they use more cream daily. Dr. A also suggests that if this becomes a problem, to just drop the extra's all together if you find they are causing you to not lose weight. Just a little tid bit for you for the future, when you click on the link above that says "Portal".. you should see awhole bunch of key words up top in the middle of your page. You can click on any that are of interest to you, and see if anything matches up with what information you're looking for. I hope that helps you a little. ~sassy1~

| heavy cream is limited to 2 to 3 tablespoons per day. It's also on the "Special Category Foods" list at the amount of 3 fluid ounces. However, the Special Category foods are special because they have been known to create weight loss problems for some folks. So having these foods daily might not be a good thing. By the way, where did you get your list?
