| Good for you to have made it to day 13 and for not eating that Atkins bar. I know they say they are for all phases, but the truth is, they aren't allowed on induction because they can stall your loss. When the sugar cravings strike, try eating a small amount of protein, like a hard boiled egg or some cheese because they usually fill you up and stop the craving. Good luck and keep us posted. |

| Sometimes when I get a craving I go for a quick 5 minute walk or find something to deviate my thoughts and drink a glass of water or even make a cup of tea.

| Thanks for the advice. I sort kinda knew that the bar was not to be used during induction but I was trying to stave off a binge. I was literally imagining myself buried in Oreo cookies and milk. If I were to time the thought process (because that is all it really is) it may have lasted 10 min. I am learning that I do not have to give into the thought process of eating sweets. There are alot of old eating habits that did not serve me well that I will be tackleing, oh gotta go watch the Razorbacks beat So. Carolina in a little while w/o my ususal snacks. I do have a back up plan. wooo pig sooeeeeeeeeeeeeeee See ya SusieC |
