| Congratulations for the 6 lbs! You should read this sticky: http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...ot-linear.html (Weight loss is not linear)

| Thank you!! I haven't lost weight in two days... I keep staying the same. I do not really eat enough carbs. For example, the only carbs I had today were 1 cup of romaine and 1 cup of broc. Everyday I have been eating 4 oz of cheese. Is that what's preventing me from losing weight? |

| If you don't lose weight for 2 days, it does not mean something is preventing you to lose weight. Don't expect to drop weight every day, it won't happen. You should also not weight daily if not seeing the scale moving for 2 days affects your motivation. Cheese can stall some people, but in your case it's DEFINITELY not a stall.

| You lost 6lbs in 4 days?! That's amazing. You are (obviously) not having a problem with weight loss. If you were on any other WoE, would you be expecting to lose weight every day? I believe this is why people are advised to not weigh until after the 2 weeks of induction are over. Like Georgiana said, this is definitely not a stall.

| I will go a week or two with no change, then WHOOSH! Weight loss is DEFINITELY not linear! Try measuring as well as weighing yourself - measuring is what kept my on plan and upbeat and positive during those "why the heck am I not losing weight" periods. I was losing inches... which is really what we're after, right? Also - although I'll cheat on it a bit, I'll admit - my official weigh in day is Thursday, and I avoid weighing myself other than those days, because fluctuations happen for a lot of reasons (increased sodium intake causing water retention is one, the time of the month is another...) and it'll drive you nuts. |

| If you have to weigh, just once a week at the same time - your body goes through all sorts of changes in 7 days! Well done on the 6lb - thats amazing! |
