| I am not sure about adding the salt to your water. I have never heard of it before. One suggestion as alternative to broccoli would be to have 2 cups of salad greens. And also add 2 small mid morning and afternoon snacks, like cucumber slices, to keep your metabolism going.

| I would not add salt to my water. I get MORE than enough through what eat. As for your menu. Broccoli is listed under "other vegetables" in Atkins (pg 126) which means you should only eat one cup of it daily.
