| Nine pounds in three days is probably mostly water weight - are you drinking lots of water right now? I didn't experience it myself, but I wonder if this is "induction flu" for you? |

| I'm feeling really hot too! I would imagine it's because you're revving up your metabolism. I learned in one of my classes that athletes have a higher body temperature than an average person....hence a higher metabolism. Keep up the good work though! This is was shedding lbs feels like

| I have always felt like a little furnace too in the early days, especially in the large muscles like in the thighs. It seems to level out after a while, but I feel sure it is just 'ketosis' making itself known.

| I also feel really hot! I cause lots of funny stares as I walk around with a short sleeved top on as it's pretty cold here at the moment. I feel hot all the time though! I am sure it's to do with fat burning so I live with it!! x |

| Ha ha! I thought you were going to have incredible amazing before and after pictures to show off a 'hot' body! ha ha... that's funny. I totally took your title the wrong way and misunderstood you until I read your post! (still chuckling) I felt hot like that the first time I did atkins too. it was weird, but most likely due to the reving up of your metebolism. yeah! That's such a good thing! liz |

| I feel the exact same way! I'm on Day 2 and was drenched in sweat as I was walking home from the subway. Also feeling the nausea before/after eating, and have a bit of a headache. Induction flu for real. Just taking it all as a sign that it's working... Other than this, I'm feeling OK. A bit tired, but nothing out of the ordinary. Am also drinking 4-5 liters of water a day. Hang in there! |
