| Awesome, what a result! You must be so pleased. I've lost 8lbs in 1 week so I am hopeful for week two. I find I don't really miss sugary things so much. It's bread, pasta and rice I crave! Also I find it such a bind only having a few vegetables a day. Just a few mushrooms and a tiny bit of broccoli take me up to the 20g limit! argh Anyway gotta press on and let the ketosis do it's thang! hehe Keep up the good work!!! |

| Hi. Just wanted to chime in on the sugar craving issue. I was just in another thread about this. In the book, Dr A talks about L-glutamine for sugar and alcohol cravings. You can take 500mg before each meal. (pg 136 in my book) Good luck, and as they say, this too shall pass!! Sam PS....Great job on the loss so far!! Woo hoooo.... |

| You guys are an inspiration. I too am in my 2nd week, and just praying things continue to work as they have so far. I have made up my mind that the only thing at this point that would truly make me happy ( besides making goal) would be to eat an entire box of Lucky Charms...since i wont be doing that, I am not going to torture myself with any thougths of sweet or carbs! I am with you on the small amounts of veggies. I could eat bag after bag of spinach...never realized that would have the carbs it does!!!
