| Honestly, I hate exercising. So if I don't do it as soon as I get up in the morning, I find every excuse not to do it. You know, "it's too cold", "it's too hot", "I'll do it after I do this", etc. etc. When the weather is good (ie: not a tropical storm downpour or a blizzard), I take weekend walks through parks and other places of interest. Just a word of caution: if you do walk on trails, be sure you are safe, like bring a cell phone, tell people where you are going, bring water, etc.

| I too have to get it over with in the morning. It has also helped me to really find stuff to do that I can sort of enjoy. And I join the challenges. Those keep me motivated. They are starting now in December - maybe you should look into them. You are so right exercise help. Last time I weighed this much or little

| I think the challenges on here are true motivators - I am finding myself a bit addicted to exercise now and trust me, that is a huge turn around!!! First thing in the morning is definitely the best - its good for your metabolism too but also you can walk around smug all day :0) LOL Janie x |

| I have to fit my exercise in around midday. I get up at 7 and get 4 kids ready for school and then I go to work for 3 hours then I am free for most of the day. I cannot and will not get up any earlier. I have tried it before and I just cant do it. But this window of time I have is great. I just have to commit myself to going daily or close to daily. Curves is great because it is just 30 minutes and I can fit that in easy. If I want a more intense workout I can drive to my gym that has everything even though it is farther away. Its just all about establishing a routine and sticking with it. That is the tricky part. |

This time I'm trying to not miss two days in a row. Even if I don't feel like going I don't want to get into a streak of not going and fall into that bad habit. On days that I'm really against going I just try to at least go and do some cardio. Like everyone else once I get there I'm ok. I'm also with the group that doesn't like the morning workouts. The only time I ever worked out in the morning with any consistency was in the Army 15 years ago. Note: It is easy to workout in the morning when the other option is being yelled at and extra duty |
