Recently, however, vegan food companies make a fake cheese from soy milk that is flavored to taste like dairy cheeses. The vegan industry has taken to calling that product "soy cheese".

| As Megs said, tofu is allowed as being 'soy cheese' so you need to include any tofu as part of your 3-4 ounces of cheese 'allowance'

| I'm curious with your experience with Tofu while on the diet. I just bought some and I absolutely love it, but I'm afraid it will slow down my weight loss. How do you typically prepare it? |
